Payment Terms
Your customer service rep will prepare an invoice once your job has been completed. All payment must be made prior to shipping your order. Payment can be made via our website payment portal or over the phone. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Cheque. If you are paying by cheque, it must be received prior to shipping your order. Please note that all NSF cheques will incur a $25 fee. To avoid a delay in shipping out your order, submitting preauthorized card information prior to completion is recommended. Please talk to your rep.
Extended Payment Terms
For select Companies that qualify, extended payment terms may be granted. We have the right to terminate extended payment terms at any time. Please contact us for more information.
Submitting A Quote
Our goal is to have all quote requests returned within a 24 hour business period.
Feel free to give us a call, email us, or use our quote form.
Please ensure the following information is provided:
• Number of skus
• Qty’s
• Size of label
• Type of material (if you need help on this – call us!)
• Rewind position (is it hand applied? Or if you need help on this – call us!)
• Details – eg. If you need your labels in sheets or rolls / CMYK / lamination
Submitting An Order
• Please indicate PO#
• Please indicate the sku (s) and Qty (s)
• Please indicate the quoted price
• Please indicate material, rewind position, and other details
• Please indicate company name and address
• Please indicate the “Ship To:” address
• Please indicate payment method
Art Work
To help receive your job in the quickest way possible, please ensure that your art files are completed prior to submitting your order. Artwork issues remain the biggest culprit of delaying orders.
Please note that we do not design product labels. We work with our customers existing art files. We strongly recommend working with a graphic designer experienced with packaging design.
We are happy to make small text changes to your label and consult regarding die lines etc. at no charge. Ask your rep and we can put you or your designer in contact with a member from our prepress dept.
For any larger issues with art files during the order process, files will be returned to the customer to make necessary changes. If unavailable, our prepress department can make changes charged at $50.00 per half hour. Please note that changes are at the discretion of a scheduling que, and will affect your turnaround time.
If you need help looking for a graphic designer to help with label design, please let us know and we can suggest some of our favourites.
Proof Approval
Our Prepress department will work to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible in getting your file ready to go to press. Please note however that all customers are responsible for their own artwork and files. Please look over your proof carefully and report any needed changes or errors (Our prepress department is happy to make small text changes etc. at no charge if needed) Once a proof is approved and sent to press, any changes that arise are not possible and customers are responsible for the full payment of their order and any subsequent rerun. This will also result in a change of delivery dates.
Finishing Times
We aim to have your standard order complete 5 business days after proof approval. More detailed orders will take longer. Please ask us for Shrink Sleeve turnaround times. Please note that any changes made by the customer regarding their art file will result in different completion dates. Please ensure that changes are made, and files are complete prior to submitting.
Rush orders are sometimes available. Please speak with your rep.
Shipping
Shipping rates vary. If you require a quote prior to shipping, please let us know.
We ship standard ground unless otherwise advised.
Digital Labels uses UPS as our preferred courier.
If you need your tracking number, please contact shipping@digitallabels.ca or ask your CSR.
If you would like to arrange your own shipping, please let your customer service rep know prior to completion.
Pick up: If you are in the area please feel free to pick up your order – visitors are always welcome!
Please note that we are not responsible for late delivery times resulting from possible unforeseen courier issues.
